The journey is just as important as the destination. In the morning our stewards welcome you aboard and show you to your comfortable armchair seat. Elegant tables are laid with white starched tablecloths, uniquely-branded silverware, specially commissioned crockery and highly-polished glasses all complementing the luxurious wooden panelled carriages.

Fine dining is a highlight of every journey and once you have settled in, a delicious brunch with a Bellini cocktail is served as you travel towards Ayrshire. 

On arrival a luxury coach awaits to take you to Dumfries House. Set in over 2,000 acres this is a stunning estate with an unrivalled collection of Chippendale furniture. Enjoy a guided tour followed by free time to visit the beautiful landscaped gardens.

Later rejoin the train for a sumptuous five course meal accompanied by fine wine and a glass of sparkling champagne. What a wonderful way to explore the very best of Scotland.
