A charity client seeking a special venue to raise funds for their organisation.

Based in Humberside the hospice wanted to bring something new to the region to engage existing supporters and attract new ones.

The
Solution

Guests enjoyed a 7 course Gala Dinner whilst travelling through the Great British countryside. Strolling musicians, table magicians and a fund raising raffle added to the occasion.

The event was a sell out with a waiting list so long we had to do it all over again. A second date was added and a great time was had by all and the hospice raised much needed funds for their very worthy cause.

We have used the Northern Belle for a fundraising excursion for the last 8 years and we have always been delighted with the service, quality and food. We have both chartered the train and sold seats on their existing journeys and the staff have always been extremely helpful – both on the telephone before an excursion and on the train.

A trip onboard the Northern Belle is an exquisite day out and I would not hesitate to recommend them to other charities for fundraising events.
